Is a Volvo XC90 or XC60 worth remapping for towing?
Often, yes. A heavy SUV towing a caravan or trailer spends a lot of time in the mid-range, which is where a diesel remap adds the most torque. It does not change the legal towing limit.
Will a Volvo dealer update remove my remap?
It can. A dealer software update can write the factory calibration back over the remap, so mention it if the car is going in for updates.
