MERCEDES REMAPPING

ECU remapping for Mercedes-Benz cars and vans, diesel and petrol, carried out at your home, yard or workplace.

Mercedes diesels, from the four-cylinder in the C 220 d, E 220 d and GLC to the larger six-cylinders, respond well to a remap, mostly as stronger mid-range torque. The same engine families power the Sprinter and Vito, where the extra torque is most useful when the van is loaded or towing. Most modern Mercedes cars use an automatic gearbox, so the remap is matched to the gearbox as well as the engine.

The work is done where the vehicle is parked, within around 20 miles of Swadlincote, so a working van does not have to come off the road for the day.

Remap Man offers mobile Mercedes-Benz remapping from Swadlincote, covering customers within around 20 miles, including Burton upon Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Tamworth, Derby and Lichfield. Send your registration, make, model and postcode to confirm availability and pricing for your vehicle.

Mercedes Remapping questions answered

Which Mercedes models can be remapped?

Most turbocharged Mercedes-Benz models: A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, the GLA, GLC and GLE, plus the Sprinter and Vito vans. Newer ECUs can need different access, so send the registration to check first.

Is it worth remapping a Mercedes Sprinter?

Usually, for the same reason as any working van: most of its day is spent loaded and low in the rev range, where a remap adds torque. Weight and towing limits stay exactly as they were.

Will a Mercedes dealer update remove my remap?

It can. A dealer software update can write the factory calibration back over the remap, so mention the remap if the vehicle is going in for updates.
