AUDI REMAPPING

ECU remapping for Audi TDI diesel and TFSI petrol models, from the A3 to the Q7, carried out at your home or workplace.

Most Audis share their engines with the wider Volkswagen Group. The 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TFSI found in the A3, A4, A5, Q3 and Q5 are widely tuned and respond well, and the 3.0 TDI V6 in the A6, A7, Q5 and Q7 gains strongly too, mainly as extra mid-range torque. Many Audis use S tronic or tiptronic automatic gearboxes, which have their own torque limits, so the remap is matched to the gearbox as well as the engine.

Gary wrote in his Google review: “The remap has transformed my Audi A4 TFSI.” The work is done where the car is parked, within around 20 miles of Swadlincote.

Remap Man offers mobile Audi remapping from Swadlincote, covering customers within around 20 miles, including Burton upon Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Tamworth, Derby and Lichfield. Send your registration, make, model and postcode to confirm availability and pricing for your vehicle.

Audi Remapping questions answered

Which Audi models can be remapped?

Most turbocharged Audis, TDI diesel and TFSI petrol, across the A1 to A8 and the Q range. Send the registration and engine so the ECU can be checked before the visit.

Will a remap affect my S tronic gearbox?

S tronic and other automatic gearboxes have torque limits, and the remap is set to stay within them for that car. Some gearboxes also have software that limits torque, which is worth discussing when you enquire.

Is an Audi remap the same as a VW, SEAT or Skoda remap?

Often the engine is the same, so the approach is similar, but each car's ECU, gearbox and software version differ, so the calibration is still matched to the specific vehicle.

Can a remap improve my Audi's fuel economy?

On TDI diesels it can, because extra low-down torque means less throttle for the same journey. It is not guaranteed and depends on how the car is driven.
