MITSUBISHI REMAPPING

ECU remapping for Mitsubishi diesel models, including the L200 and Shogun, carried out at your home, yard or workplace.

Mitsubishi's DI-D diesels respond well to a remap, mostly as stronger low-down torque for towing and carrying weight. The Outlander plug-in hybrid is not normally a remapping candidate. The current L200 uses the 2.4 DI-D, earlier L200s the 2.5 DI-D, and the Shogun the 3.2 DI-D. Many work as farm, trade and towing vehicles, which is where the extra low-down torque is felt most: pulling away loaded, climbing hills and towing without constant gear changes.

The work is done where the vehicle is parked, within around 20 miles of Swadlincote.

Remap Man offers mobile Mitsubishi remapping from Swadlincote, covering customers within around 20 miles, including Burton upon Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Tamworth, Derby and Lichfield. Send your registration, make, model and postcode to confirm availability and pricing for your vehicle.

Mitsubishi Remapping questions answered

Is it worth remapping a Mitsubishi L200?

For an L200 that tows or carries weight, usually yes: the extra low-down torque is where it is felt. It does not change payload or towing limits.

Can an Outlander PHEV be remapped?

Not normally. Plug-in hybrids balance the engine and electric motors through their own control systems, so they are not usually remapped.

Does a remap change my L200's towing or payload limit?

No. The towing and payload limits on the vehicle plate are set by Mitsubishi and stay exactly the same after a remap. It just makes the work feel easier.
