KIA REMAPPING

ECU remapping for Kia CRDi diesel and T-GDi petrol models, carried out at your home or workplace.

Kia's CRDi diesels, the 1.6, 2.0 and 2.2 in the Sportage, Ceed and Sorento, respond well to a remap, mostly as stronger mid-range torque, and the 1.0 and 1.6 T-GDi turbo petrols respond too. Kia shares its engines with Hyundai. Hybrid and electric models such as the Niro are not normally remapping candidates.

The work is done where the vehicle is parked, within around 20 miles of Swadlincote.

Remap Man offers mobile Kia remapping from Swadlincote, covering customers within around 20 miles, including Burton upon Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Tamworth, Derby and Lichfield. Send your registration, make, model and postcode to confirm availability and pricing for your vehicle.

Kia Remapping questions answered

Can a Kia Sportage be remapped?

Most can, both the CRDi diesels and the T-GDi turbo petrols. Hybrid versions vary, so send the registration to check first.

Is a Kia Sorento worth remapping for towing?

The 2.2 CRDi responds well, and the extra mid-range torque makes towing feel easier. It does not change the legal towing limit.
