TOYOTA REMAPPING

ECU remapping for Toyota diesel models, including the Hilux, Land Cruiser and Proace, carried out at your home, yard or workplace.

Toyota's D-4D diesels respond well to a remap, especially the 2.4 and 2.8 in the Hilux and the 2.8 in the Land Cruiser, where the gain is mostly low-down torque for towing and off-road work. The Proace van uses Peugeot and Citroen diesels and is handled the same way. Toyota's hybrid models are not normally remapping candidates.

The work is done where the vehicle is parked, within around 20 miles of Swadlincote.

Remap Man offers mobile Toyota remapping from Swadlincote, covering customers within around 20 miles, including Burton upon Trent, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Coalville, Tamworth, Derby and Lichfield. Send your registration, make, model and postcode to confirm availability and pricing for your vehicle.

Toyota Remapping questions answered

Is it worth remapping a Toyota Hilux?

For a Hilux that tows or carries weight, usually yes: the extra low-down torque is where it is felt. It does not change payload or towing limits.

Can a Toyota hybrid be remapped?

Not normally. Toyota hybrids balance the petrol engine and electric motor through their own control systems, so they are not usually remapped. The diesels are where a remap helps.
